Ingredients
 
 

  • 3 pounds plums halved and pits removed
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F, 190°C or gas mark 5.
  • In a mixing bowl blend the cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt together.
  • In the baking dish place the plum halves cut side up. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over all of the plums. Add the butter to the dish. Place in the oven for 20 minutes or until the plums become tender.
  • Serve with crème fraiche or a nice scoop of ice cream.
