In a bowl whisk the all of the marinade ingredients together. Pour into the freezer bag and add the steak. Squeeze out as much air as possible and marinate for at least 2 hours up or overnight. Make the herbed butter by mixing all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl until evenly combined. Place onto a sheet of cling film wrap around the butter to form a tube then twist the ends to seal. Roll into a log and refrigerate.
Preheat the oven to broil or grill.
Place the steak on a sheet pan and place about 6 inches under the broiler. Cook for 5 minutes on one side and 3-5 minutes on the other side depending on the thickness.
Take out and let rest for 10 minutes.
While the steak is resting heat the marinade in a saucepan until it boils. Remove from the heat and strain if desired.
Slice steak into strips across the grain and drizzle with the marinade. Serve with herbed butter.
